I hate to sound like a broken record, but the New Orleans Saints have to get things together. This season would be the perfect opportunity for them to make some moves in the postseason.
The whole division doesn't look great right now if we are being honest. I think the consensus is that the Buccaneers are the best team, as of right now, but that could be different.
If only the Saints played like everyone expects them to.
"I mean, I thought we were going to win a lot more," Olave said when asked if this was everything he thought would happen. "Me personally, I feel like, yeah I expected that. I have high expectations for myself, and my standard is one of the highest.
"I feel like going into the year, I wanted to be the best rookie, and one of the best receivers coming into the league, and I wanted to be one of the best right away. I feel like I have taken a step to that, but I want to be a lot better, and I got to keep getting better every day."
I understand exactly what Olave is saying. This roster is beyond talented. They have skill and talent at every position but are still falling short. I think we all expected more wins from the Saints this year.
As for the second part, I'd say that is still going according to plan. Olave has been absolutely amazing this season, and if it was up to me, I'd vote him the Offensive Rookie of the Year right now.
He is already the best receiver on the Saints, and will only get better.
