The Pittsburgh Steelers added some beef on their defensive front on Wednesday. They added defensive tackle, Jonathan Marshall, to their 53-man roster, snagging him from the Jets practice squad.

Marshall was taken in the sixth round by the Jets in 2021. He hasn't made an impact so far on the professional level with just two tackles recorded in four games of action (76 snaps).

Going back to his college days at Arkansas, Marshall has experience as a true nose tackle and playing the 4i-technique, which lines up a defensive lineman on the inside shoulder of offensive tackles and causes them to take on guards as well, something the Steelers desperately need.
