Last night's game forces a tough question onto the Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs are one of the more traditional teams in the league. I guess you could say them, the Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers, and the Pittsburgh Steelers are some of the most traditional teams in the NFL.
In other words, you don't, and won't, ever see these teams doing a rebrand, or changing their uniforms all that much. They don't change logos, and they don't change cities or colors. They usually keep it the same, and to me, that is traditional. That is just one of the many reasons these are so respected around the league.
Watching the Thursday Night Football game in Week 4 with the Cincinnati Bengals and Miami Dolphins had me thinking.
Those two teams are definitely not one of the more "traditional" teams in the league. Both have rebranded several times in terms of uniforms, logos, and even colors. However, that isn't always a bad thing.
Both of those teams have really nice uniforms. The Bengals unveiled their new white and black striped helmets not too long ago, and are wearing them for the first time ever on Thursday Night Football.
So, this begs the question. Should the Chiefs do an alternate uniform or helmet? There are a lot of fans that think so, and there is a lot that don't think so.
There are so many edits out there that have Mahomes wearing all black. Or they have Mahomes wearing all white, and to me, those are fine. However, the all-gold uniforms I keep seeing, are just downright disgusting.
However, there is a fine line that you tip-toe with the Chiefs. They don't do stuff like that. But I will say having something new and fresh will help the fan engagement, and things of that nature.
I think it is definitely something they should think about. I'm not asking for them to get completely new uniforms, no. I just want them to have a new helmet to use every now and then, or maybe a new uniform.
