After their season opening win against the Dallas Cowboys, the Todd Bowles and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had to quickly shift their attention towards the injury front.

A couple of key starters sustained concerning injuries, but no one knew the exact extent of their injuries nor if they'd miss any time.

One of those starters was left tackle Donovan Smith, who had to leave the game after going down with an arm injury. Smith was ultimately ruled out, which left some fans wondering just how serious the injury was.

We got our answer today, as Bowles confirmed the exact details of the injury Smith suffered.

This is really good news for Tampa Bay. Anytime a player is quickly ruled out with an arm injury, the concern level rises because the number of serious arm injuries you can sustain is low compared to other potential injury situations.

We'll see if Smith can fight through the pain and play next week against the New Orleans Saints. If he can't go though, the Bowles and the Buccaneers will have to dip into their tackle depth earlier than they would've liked.
