Raiders' All-Pro hears the noise and responds to fans

The Las Vegas Raiders have one of the biggest fan bases in all of the American sports. they are a team that is oftentimes put on a national scale, and held to a high standard.
So, at 2-6, you can only assume how the fan base feels about the team as a whole.
Now add in the fact that the guy the team just paid a lot of money has played just five games, and in one of them he only played a few snaps. I'm sure people are mad about that as well.
“You know people are talking, you know people are probably chirping, but I’ve been where people have said [negative ' things about me from suspensions, to [positive] where I performed like in 2019, 2020, 2021. So being on both sides. It’s like, no matter how good it is or how bad it is from the fans, it’s really noise, it’s all kind of the same," Waller told Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.
"It’s all about just continuing on and focusing on what’s the goal at hand that I can really accomplish. And for me, right now, it’s getting healthy. I try to focus on that. And then when I’m back on the field, what can I do when I’m on the field? Just keeping it simple like that.”
I'll start by saying this. Waller has 175 yards and one touchdown on the year. We are now officially over halfway into the season, and that just won't cut it for a guy who is now the highest-paid tight end when you talk about average salary a year.
Waller is making $17 million a year to be on pace for just over 300 receiving yards.
So, I would be upset too.
Waller is not a big part of the Raiders' struggles, but I do feel like they would happen less if he was out there. Unfortunately, it feels like he hasn't been.
They start winning, and he probably wouldn't hear as much noise.
