The Denver Broncos are dealing with more injuries than almost any other team in the NFL. On Tuesday, we found out it could be worse than what we expected, as news surfaced that Russell Wilson could be out for some time. Of course, it was just skepticism.
The original report was that Tom Pelissero reported that Russell Wilson is getting an MRI on his hamstring Tuesday, and it could be a "fairly significant" injury.
Then later, there was more news. Pelissero then tweeted out-
"This was the concern pending tests today. Russell Wilson plays through pretty much everything. But his health will be worth monitoring — again — on a short week leading up to Sunday’s game against the Jets."
So, just from the first few tweets that were put out regarding the situation, the injury wasn't looking great.
Then Broncos fans got somewhat positive news after Ian Rapoport reported the following.
"After the MRI, Russell Wilson is considered day-to-day, source said. It’s a real injury, and he’s in real pain. But he is pushing to play. The Broncos will continue to evaluate his progress on a short week."
The positive news is that Wilson is just day-today and the injury is nothing as serious as we thought. however, I'd still want my $245 million quarterback to sit out if I were the Broncos.
