Obviously, the Grady Jarrett sack that was nullified due to a roughing the passer call has been one of the hottest topics of the week.
It's dominated headlines, as it should. It was an awful call that dealt the Atlanta Falcons a major, major blow in their 21-15 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And, there's a good chance there will be some kind of change, whether it be rules-associated or whatever, to come out of the situation.
One part of that play that many haven't talked about, however, is Tom Brady's attempt at kicking Jarrett as the two players were separating.
You can see Brady kick at Jarrett below:
Well, the NFL certainly noticed and thought the action was bad enough to warrant a fine. Brady's kick cost him $11,139, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
That's a decent amount of money for a regular person, but that's a drop in the bucket for Brady. That's something he finds under the couch cushion or in a weird place in his closet.
Regardless, the NFL is hoping its message has been sent and that Brady avoids this type of retaliation in the future.
