On one hand, the Saints got some good news on Monday. On the flip side, a new injury emerged for the offense.
Wide receiver Chris Olave has cleared concussion protocol.
It looks like the star rookie receiver will be back in action on Thursday.
Unfortunately, Andy Dalton sustained a back injury during their loss to the Bengals yesterday. His status is up in the air for their matchup with the Cardinals on Thursday.
Jameis Winston is still recovering from his injuries, so the Saints do not know if he will start on Thursday, either. He was the backup this past Sunday but did not see any action.
Accordingly, fans need to keep an eye on Dalton and Winston over these next couple of days. Their practice status will say a lot about their availability for Thursday.
Additionally, Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry don't seem to be on track to return this week.
Cornerback Marshon Lattimore's return is unlikely, too. So, the Saints could be without two of their top receivers and their best cornerback once again.
