The NFL Top 100 continues to draw reactions from players around the league. New Orleans Saints defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson is the latest to laugh at the list's rankings.
The rankings don't have the Saints defender included. That concept is comical considering he may be the best nickel defender in the entire NFL.
The list did include Colts DB Kenny Moore. He came in at number 83. That's probably an underrated spot for him as well. Both defenders are probably top 60 players in the league. Slot defenders continue to be undervalued, though. They matchup against some of the toughest matchups weekly, but they do not get the same respect that other defensive backs do on a consistent basis.
Gardner-Johnson is a matchup nightmare for many offensive targets. His speed and physicality combo makes it difficult to get separation or make contested catches. The Saints use him in so many important situations.
That being said, it will be telling if Moore is the only nickel defender on the list. Only having one of the top, well-balanced defensive backs in the top 100 is quite debatable.
The Saints DB is one of the most animated players on and off the field. That's part of the reason why Saints fans love him so much.
