If you haven't been paying attention as of late, the NFL is cracking down on players and teams faking injuries during a game to have an advantage on defense, and the New Orleans Saints are one of the recent teams that have been disciplined.
Cam Jordan was believed to be seen faking an injury during the Monday Night Football game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He claims he wasn't and that the NFL was trying to tear him down, so he and his people are fighting the fine.
We have heard him say his integrity is being damaged, and that he wasn't faking it, and all these things about the fine, but we have yet to hear him say anything about the actual injury itself, or what happened.
Well, we finally have word on what really happened with the injury.
Jordan says he got an X-Ray, and he says he is still recovering from it a bit and the bye week helped. I believe him 100%, and I guess we will find out more about the situation after the league gives an announcement of the team fighting the fine.
I don't think Jordan has ever been known to be a guy that would do something like that. But I am glad he will be healthy heading into the rivalry this weekend.
