Denver Broncos quarterback had his best performance of the season against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 14.

He and the offense started slow, but they caught fire in the second half. It was extremely impressive against one of the best teams in the NFL.

Unfortunately, his game ended a bit early. Wilson suffered a concussion, forcing him out the divisional matchup. The Broncos' quarterback had led multiple scoring drives to erase a 27-0 deficit.

There have been a couple of updates about the Broncos' QB since the end of the game.

Now, Denver will wait to see how long they will be without their starter.

Brett Rypien came in for Wilson against the Chiefs. He will see more action if Russ cannot play in the coming weeks.

Wilson's teammates mentioned how well their QB played today. Multiple players mentioned his toughness and determination. It sounds like they still believe in their quarterback and are excited to get him back when he is healthy.

The Broncos should not rush Wilson back whatsoever, though. Concussion protocol is nothing to be taken lightly.

They need to bring Wilson back only once he is at full strength.
