The 2022 season has not always been kind to Tennessee Titans OLB Bud Dupree, who has been nursing two separate hip injuries, forcing him to miss four games and be in-and-out of others.

In a recent interview with Buck Reising, Dupree gave some valuable insight into what has caused his nagging issues.

"Just coming back from the ACL injury, that puts stress on your body. Lots of compensation going on within that time and you develop habits that you normally don't do," Dupree said. "That's what brought up my recent injuries that I've been having."

Dupree is referring to the torn ACL he suffered as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers in December of 2020. He spent a majority of last season recovering, missing six games in 2021. Apparently, Dupree also developed some poor habits along the way.

Now his hips are beginning to feel the impact of compensating for his knee, and all Dupree can do is work hard to get back to 100 percent.

"I'm just going out every day trying to be the best and continuing to do the rehab that they provided me with," Dupree said. The veteran pass rusher is also doing his own rehab apart from the he is doing at the Titans' facility.

After playing 81 percent of snaps in Sunday's loss to Cincinnati, Dupree has not appeared on the Titans injury report this week. He should be good to go on Sunday in Philadelphia.
