Buffalo Bills edge rusher Von Miller badly wants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr as a teammate.
Miller took to Instagram again this week to express his desire to get OBJ in a Bills uniform. The future Hall of Famer posted a couple of Instagram stories of Beckham wearing a Buffalo uniform.
Miller and OBJ were teammates for the final nine weeks of the regular season last year when both players landed with the Los Angeles Rams in November.
The duo won the Super Bowl against the Cincinnati Bengals. OBJ, however, tore his ACL in the game, which is why he's remained unsigned this offseason.
Beckham likely won't be ready to go until late November/early December at the earliest. But he showed last season that he's still a dynamic player that can help a team in the postseason.
It might not be a bad idea for the Bills to sign Beckham now and hold on to him until he's ready. The worst-case scenario is that they don't need him, which means they could either stash him for next season (depending on contract length) or they could trade him to bolster other parts of the roster.
Either way, it wouldn't be a bad move for Buffalo's front office to listen to Miller and bring OBJ to the Bills.
