KANSAS CITY – Teams are making moves in order to get to the NFL's 90-man roster limit and the Chiefs joined in on the action Thursday.
Per ESPN's Field Yates, the Chiefs released six players as the work toward the goal of 90.
Griffin-Stewart appeared in two games last year and logged a total of four offensive snaps, but the name fans may be most familiar with Pederson. He is the son of former Chiefs offensive coordinator and Super Bowl-winning Eagles head coach Doug Pederson. Pederson is now the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
As of now, the roster currently sits at 89 players.
