Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes hilariously poked fun at Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers on Monday.

The sixth edition of "The Match" was announced on Monday and it will pit Brady and Rodgers against Mahomes and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

Mahomes was interviewed by NFL Network on Monday afternoon and he was asked why he thinks he and Allen will be able to beat Brady and Rodgers.

"I think the reason we're going to win is because we're going to be able to play the course a little differently than old Tom and old Aaron over there," quipped Mahomes. "They're going to be playing it nice and easy you, you know. They might get us on a couple of par threes, but whenever we can really open it up and use the drivers and [then] it'll be nice to use our little wedges like they're using their six iron. So that will help us a little bit."

This will be must-see television for Chiefs fans. It sounds like there should be plenty of "trash talk" from Mahomes and Allen directed at Brady and Rodgers.

Mahomes and Allen are viewed by many as the next Brady/Rodgers, so this could also be a cool "passing of the torch" type moment.

"The Match" will be broadcast on June 1 on TNT.
