The New Orleans Saints pick 14th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft as of now. Offensive line is one need that has been popular for them early in mock drafts.
Georgia offensive tackle Amarius Mims is widely expected to go in round one. The Saints may have interest in him with their first pick.
Mims underwent surgery in September, but he is expected to be fully healthy for the Scouting Combine, according to Jordan Reid.
Mims is expected to go in the first round, and the Saints' need at offensive tackle could be maximized or taken away completely yin free agency.
If they bring back Andrus Peat to play OT, they will not need a starter in the draft. If Peat walks and they don't find a legitimate replacement, tackle remains a major need. Relying on James Hurst or Trevor Penning is not the smartest option for New Orleans.
