At the NFL Scouting Combine this week, all 32 NFL teams will have the chance to meet formally with 45 prospects for 18 minutes.

Outside of formal meetings, teams can hold unlimited informal meetings on the side.

One of the many players that the Philadelphia Eagles plan to meet formally with is Clemson off-ball linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr., according to Jake Rabadi of The Liberty Line.

That name might ring a bell because Trotter is the son of former Eagles' All-Pro linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Sr.

Trotter became a hot draft prospect following the 2022 season after he achieved 89 total tackles, 6.5 sacks, one forced fumble, seven passes defended, two interceptions, and one defensive touchdown

The Clemson product continued to stack onto his success in 2023 where he amassed 88 total tackles, 5.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, seven passes defended, two interceptions, and a defensive touchdown.

The Eagles could use another MIKE linebacker considering Nakobe Dean hasn't met expectations yet and they have nothing more than subpar depth at the position.

Trotter is currently considered a Day 2 or possible Day 3 selection ahead of April's NFL draft.
