After having the biggest play of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman was invited to the NBA Celebrity All-Star game this week.
He participated in the game and actually scored a few points. Now, he is no hooper, but he isn't bad. The most surprising thing was probably his defense, considering he plays on offense during his daytime job.
However, the coolest thing we saw was his jersey and the nickname displayed on the back of it.
If you watched the game, you know exactly what I'm talking about – Hardman's jersey had the nickname "Mr. Walkoff" on the back, which is only fitting. Hardman ran the route very similar to "corndog" in last year's Super Bowl and actually caught the game-winning touchdown.
Hardman is set to become a free agent this offseason, and the Chiefs could move on from him again. Either way, the ride has been fun.
