A Cleveland Browns player very well could be the winner of a major award for the second straight time.

Joe Flacco took home the Comeback Player of the Year award recently and it very well could be going to another Brown in 2024.

Nick Chubb only played two games in 2023, really it was a game and a half. Chubb has to be the early favorite to be the Comeback Player of the Year following the 2024 regular season.

Chubb went down in Week 2 and the Browns lost much of their running identity. Losing perhaps the best pure runner in the league is never ideal, but the Browns had to move on without him.

Cleveland was able to move on and win 11 games, which is probably something that not many seen coming with all of the injuries.

A second straight serious knee injury is tough to come back from, but if anyone can do it then it would be Chubb. If he can return to be close to the player he once was, it is a major win for the Browns.

Chubb has run for 1,000 yards the previous four seasons and had 996 yards as a rookie. The Browns need to likely rework his contract to keep him around. Nonetheless, expect him to be in the mix for an award at the next NFL Honors.
