Kendrick Bourne always makes his opinions known, especially when it concerns the team he loves so much.

So when appearing on NBC Sports Boston on Tuesday, the wide receiver was asked about his opinion on the top quarterbacks available in this year's draft.

And there is one that he thinks would be a great fit for the New England Patriots.

"I like Jayden Daniels. I'm a Jayden Daniels fan. Heisman trophy winner obviously. I love the way he plays, being able to be versatile," Bourne explained. "So I think that would be a strong suit for us."

And when the idea of possibly trading down in the draft came up, Bourne was certainly not in favor.

"Don't do it," he simply said.

It's no surprise that the Patriots are in the market for a new quarterback for the 2024 season. Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe struggled last year, and it's certainly time for a change in New England.

While Mayo hasn't exactly said what the team plans to do with that No. 3 overall pick, he made it clear that they are going to draft someone for a position that they desperately need.

So it's pretty safe to assume he means quarterback.

And Daniels could help turn the page on a fresh chapter in New England with a new franchise quarterback.

Bourne is already on board with this idea, and it's safe to assume that many of the other players would agree. So let's see if Mayo and the rest of the front office have similar feelings.

Fingers crossed that they do.
