The Las Vegas Raiders very well may be in the running for a quarterback in this upcoming draft, but to get one of the better ones in the draft, they will likely have to trade up.

There have been reports throughout the offseason that the Raiders are interested in Jayden Daniels, the Heisman Trophy winner from last season at LSU, and the quarterback who played his previous three seasons at Arizona State with Antonio Pierce as the defensive coordinator.

The fit makes sense. However, he is a top-three quarterback in the draft, and he is projected to go in the top five of the draft. The Raiders would likely have to move up to get him.

The recent news surrounding him is that the Raiders want to get to see him as early as they would maybe like.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Daniels has decided not to go to the NFL Combine and instead throw at his pro day. The NFL Combine is this upcoming week, and the pro-day date would likely be after the combine.

Now, this isn't a huge deal, as things like this happen all of the time. However, I'm sure the Raiders want to see him at the combine.
