It appears that the Cleveland Browns are getting some shade thrown at them following having their season ended.

After the Browns lost to the Texans by a score of 45-14, one former player had a comment to make at the end of the game.

Jarvis Landry played for the Browns from 2018-2021 before the Browns cut him after 2021. Landry didn’t appear in an NFL game in 2023 and he is letting teams know.

Landry is stating that experience matters and he’s likely meaning it’s key to have in the playoffs. There’s no way to be 100 percent about the meaning behind the post, but the timing looks to give it away.

The thing is Landry was not making a difference in this game and he would be buried on the depth chart in Cleveland. Cleveland drafted David Bell to sort of replace Landry’s role. Bell came on for Cleveland over the last two games this season and had 12 catches for 122 yards in that time.

Cleveland brought in Amari Cooper, Elijah Moore, and Cedric Tillman after Landry was out of Cleveland. It is fair to say that the wide receiver room is in better shape now than it ever was with Landry on the roster.

Overall, the Browns are in a much better place as a team, too. Cleveland just made the playoffs with a boatload of significant injuries to significant players. The loss will sting but they’ll be unbothered by what Landry had to say.
