2025 four-star offensive tackle Carter Lowe will choose between Tennessee, Georgia, Michigan, Alabama, and Ohio State on Saturday at 3:00 PM ET. The commitment announcement will be broadcast on the 247Sports YouTube Channel.
Lowe, 6-foot-5/290 lbs from Toledo, OH, is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 4 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 2 player in the state of Ohio. He's also rated as the No. 31 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class.
Scouting report via 247Sports: Burly tackle with functional athleticism to live outside in the long run, but appears to possess mass and drive-blocking ability to move inside if desired. Size and length are unverified. Plays quite physical at the point of attack. Flashes punch power when pulling around the edge and climbing to the second level. Also displays encouraging pass-pro reps with ability to recover vs. secondary rush. Shot put (48-8 sophomore PR) and basketball enhance athletic profile. Adequate knee-bender but gets out over his feet at times and compromises balance / body control. Perhaps shows better body control in pass pro than in the run game, particularly when on the move. Projects as a high-major multi-year starter who could become an elite tackle or IOL. Again, verified measurements are needed but the rest of his profile suggests long-term NFL Draft candidacy.
