The Las Vegas Raiders have been filling out their offensive staff for some time now but just recently figured out who the offensive coordinator was.
Or, so they thought. They hired Kliff Kingsbury, the former Arizona Cardinals head coach, and everything was good. He was the right man for the job in their eyes.
But then, on Saturday, something happened.
According to NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN, Kingsbury has withdrawn himself from the offensive coordinator job, per his agent. We don't really know why, but you have to think something happened.
Now, the Raiders will go back to the drawing board. Chip Kelly, the former Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator, and Hue Jackson could be big candidates.
