David Njoku has become quite the fan favorite in Cleveland and he’s broken into the scene as a player too.

The first time Pro Bowler recently went to bat for Cleveland and it’ll surely be another example of why the fans love him so dearly in The Land.

Njoku quickly shut down Dallas Cowboys DE Micah Parsons after Parsons made a comment about Cleveland that has been heard before.

“He showed why Cleveland is Cleveland,” said the star pass rusher.

The two were playing a game of Madden 24 before the interaction. Njoku opted to tell it like it is and that is that neither team is in the Super Bowl.

“One thing you have to understand is he said Cleveland is Cleveland but we’re both here. We’re both like right in the Madden game,” Njoku stated.

If either the Cowboys or Browns made the Super Bowl, one of these players wouldn’t have been in attendance at the Pro Bowl events.

Njoku made his first Pro Bowl in 2023 after posting a career-high 882 receiving yards and six touchdowns. Down the stretch run of the season, Njoku had games of 91, 104, 134, and 93 yards receiving.

At the end of the day, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Parsons and Njoku were friends off of the field. After all, this was friendly banter.
