The Pittsburgh Steelers and Mike Tomlin won't officially close the book on the 2023 season until his press conference at noon on Thursday.

But for Pittsburgh, and any other team whose season has ended, becoming a better team in 2024 is now priority number one.

The Steelers hope some of their latest moves will help that:

Steelers sign 17 to Future/Reserve Deals

Many of the names on the list may look familiar, as players like Barcoo, Fisher, Marshall, McCoullum, and others all had stints either in training camp or on the practice squad in 2023.

But the most notable addition is a former dynamic weapon with the New Orleans Saints:

WR Marquez Callaway

To gain some more insight into what Callaway can bring to the Steelers, I reached out to Adam Holt of A to Z Sports New Orleans:

"Callaway is a big-bodied wide receiver that has found the bulk of his success on in-breaking routes and contested catch opportunities," said Holt. "He’s a limited route runner that provides minor upside after the catch. Callaway was the leading receiver for the Saints in 2021 with 698 receiving yards. He caught six touchdowns that season as well."

A low-risk, high-reward signing, Pittsburgh hopes their eye for WR talent strikes gold yet again.
