Cleveland Browns now have a total of seven players that will represent them in the Pro Bowl.
On Friday, it was announced that LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah and RG Wyatt Teller would be added to the Pro Bowl rosters. JOK will replace Steelers OLB T.J. Watt and Teller is going to replace his teammate Joel Bitonio.
Pro Bowl has an unfortunate system that groups outside linebackers in a 4-3 defense with edge rushers in a 3-4 front. Owusu-Koramoah being a Pro Bowler shouldn’t have taken this long.
In what was a breakout season for No. 6, he recorded 101 tackles, 20 tackles for a loss, 3.5 sacks, two interceptions, and one forced fumble. The third-year linebacker was arguably the best player on the defense not named Myles Garrett. He is deserving of his first Pro Bowl.
Teller is heading to Pro Bowl number three after another very good season. There were a lot of injury issues on the offensive line, even some that Teller fought through. But he still managed to play at an elite level for 17 games and that’s why he is a Pro Bowler once again.
Cleveland’s Pro Bowl players for 2023 are JOK, Teller, Bitonio, Garrett, Amari Cooper, Denzel Ward, and David Njoku. The Pro Bowl is set for Sunday, Feb. 4.
