Cleveland Browns’ first real offseason task is bringing in their next offensive coordinator.

After parting ways with Alex Van Pelt, Cleveland will be bringing in just the second OC that Kevin Stefanski has had on his staff while head coach of the Browns. Cleveland has reportedly interviewed Ken Dorsey for the open job.

Dorsey was a quarterback for the Browns from 2006-2008 and made three career starters while with the team. Overall, Dorsey played in the NFL from 2003-2008. Cleveland has now interviewed two candidates for the job. Seattle Seahawks offensive line coach Andy Dickerson was the first to receive an interview.

His most recent experience was with the Buffalo Bills, where Dorsey was fired following a Week 10 loss to the Denver Broncos. Before becoming the offensive coordinator in 2022, Dorsey was the quarterbacks coach of Josh Allen for three seasons.

Dorsey got his start in coaching with the Carolina Panthers. The former NFL player was the quarterbacks coach for the Panthers from 2013-2017.

It is unclear whether or not Stefanski is going to give up play-calling. That result likely depends on the hire that they land on. Stefanski has called the offensive plays in Cleveland since becoming head coach in 2020.

There could be more potential candidates that come about with teams being eliminated from the playoffs. Still, we have two names so far that Cleveland is interested in bringing in.
