New Orleans Saints cornerback Paulson Adebo has exploded onto the scene this season for the team's defense.

In Week 9, Adebo dazzled, forcing three turnovers against the Chicago Bears. Accordingly, Adebo was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week.

The Saints cornerback totaled seven tackles, three pass breakups, two interceptions, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.

Adebo is the fifth player with 2 interceptions, a forced fumble, and fumble recovery in a game since 2000. He's the first player to accomplish the feat since 2009 (Charles Woodson). That's impressive company.

It is Adebo's first player of the week award win via the NFL. He's the third Saints CB to win the award in the past ten seasons (Marshon Lattimore, P.J. Williams).

Adebo will be an important piece to the defense for the Saints this season. His improvement has created an elite CB duo with Marshon Lattimore for New Orleans.
