One thing in particular stands apart that has been the biggest disappointment of the season.

Biggest Disappointment:

Losing Rookie Anthony Richardson for the season

Anthony Richardson suffered a shoulder injury during the Colts Week 5 matchup with the Tennesee Titans. The injury would later be diagnosed as a Grade 3 AC sprain that would require season-ending surgery. The Colts and their fans only got to see their rookie QB start four games, and he had an injury knock him out of two of those four. In total, he had only 84 pass attempts during his rookie season.

Passing stats: 50/84 (59.5%), 577 yards, 3 touchdowns, 1 interception

Rushing stats: 25 rushes, 136 yards (5.44 ypc), 4 touchdowns

For the most anticipated Colts player in recent memory to have his rookie season cut so short was a gut punch for fans and the team. Some may even question if they got their guy because of how little they got to see him.

My team sources, though, have shared that the team has no doubt in their mind that Richardson is their franchise QB. His play on the field was impressive, but what has impressed the team even more is how much he works behind the scenes. He has won over the front office and the coaching staff. But even more importantly, he has won over the locker room, as his teammates know how special he is going to be on and off the field for this franchise.
