The first defeat of the San Francisco 49ers' three-game losing streak came amid some inclement weather in Cleveland, and they may have to deal with more as they attempt to stop it against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
San Francisco travels to Jacksonville for a compelling Week 10 matchup that figures to be one of the best games of the slate.
But it could be impacted by rain, with some showers in the forecast for Sunday afternoon in Jacksonville.
Accuweather puts the chance of precipitation during the afternoon at 60 percent. The Weather Channel is more optimistic, putting the chance of rain at just 19 percent, though BBC weather forecasts light rain throughout the game.
Wind could well have an impact on the kicking game, with gusts of between 10 and 15 mph anticipated.
San Francisco will hope the rain stays away as it looks to get its offense firing on all cylinders again after three successive games in which it has scored just 17 points.
The 49ers look set to get both wide receiver Deebo Samuel and All-Pro left tackle back in the lineup. Turnovers at key moments have been the 49ers' main offensive issue recently, though, and the last thing they will want is the passing game being hindered and the chance of fumbles increasing in wet weather.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan won't make any excuses about the conditions in public, but privately he and the Niners will surely be crossing their fingers hoping it stays dry.
Second 49ers injury report for Week 10, at Jaguars
A new problem for the defense.
