Today was the final day of preparation for the Pittsburgh Steelers ahead of the Packers game. 

Seemingly getting nothing but bad news on Thursday's injury report, today would prove if the Steelers were resting players like Cam Heyward and Elandon Roberts or if they were actually injured.

Injury Report Observations

  • Minkah Fitzpatrick: Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette reported earlier that Fitzpatrick was unlikely to play Sunday vs. the Packers. Wednesday and Thursday's injury report backed up Dulac's report and now the All-Pro has officially been ruled out
  • Montavius Adams: On Wednesday's injury report, Adam's was a nonparticipant, signaling a potential missed game for him vs. the Packers. Following Thursday's practice, he once again didn't go with Friday's report ruling him out entirely
  • Elandon Roberts: Roberts popped up on the report as a limited participant on Wednesday with a knee injury. To see him miss all of Thursday was certainly concerning, so on Friday to see him full was a good sign 
  • Cam Heyward: After making his return and playing in his first game since Week 1 vs. Tennessee, seeing Heyward as limited on Wednesday is no real concern given the tread on his tires and Pittsburgh's want to keep him fresh. But when he was downgraded to a non-participant Thursday, it was met with some concern. Following Friday's report, Cam looks ready to go
