On Saturday, we were hit with some devastating news regarding one former Oakland Raiders player.
On Saturday, it was announced that former Raiders cornerback D.J. Hayden passed away as he was involved in a deadly car accident in Houston, Texas, which left five others also killed.
Hayden played for the Raiders from 2013, when the Raiders drafted him with the 12th overall pick, and played there for four seasons, from 2013 to 2016. Hayden then went on to play for the Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Washington Commanders.
Hayden played for the University of Houston in college. He was just 33 years old. His family continues to be in our thoughts and prayers.
