Tennessee Vols Dobbs

You couldn't write a better script than what Josh Dobbs is doing in the NFL right now.

The former Tennessee Vols standout has been on three rosters since August, he's lived in multiple cities, and he's had well over 150 teammates in two months.

And yet Dobbs has managed to become a household name after leading the Minnesota Vikings to two straight wins despite joining the team just days before his first game with the franchise.

After being a relatively unknown backup for six seasons, Dobbs has been thrust into the national spotlight.

His story has everything that a Hollywood movie could ask for — including some comedic moments.

Dobbs' first game with the Vikings came on the road against the Atlanta Falcons, which meant this past weekend's game was his first time playing in Minnesota (as a Viking).

Because Dobbs has been with the team for less than two weeks, he's not familiar with US Bank Stadium. So when he arrived on Sunday morning, he had to get directions to the Vikings' locker room.

Dobbs had no clue where to go, he probably still doesn't know all of his teammates' names, and he still managed to go out there and lead the Vikings to another win.

If this was a movie, you might think it wasn't believable.

But hey, like Mark Twain said, truth is often stranger than fiction.
