However, the oddsmakers would say otherwise.
Heading into their Week 11 Super Bowl LVII rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs the Eagles are underdogs for the first time this season.
Eagles vs. Chiefs Week 11 Odds
The Chiefs open the week up as 2.5-point home favorites over the Eagles with the over/under total set at 48, according to our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook.
Both teams lead their respective divisions and will enter this matchup well-rested after having bye weeks.
Philly is riding a three-game win streak while the Chiefs last beat the Miami Dolphins in Germany but lost the week prior to the Denver Broncos. The Eagles' only loss so far this season came against the New York Jets in Week 6.
Everyone can recall the last time that these two teams met because it was on the biggest stage in the NFL: Super Bowl LVII. The Eagles fell tragically 38-35 to the Chiefs in Glendale, Arizona and will be on the hunt for revenge.
But it won't come easy for them against a Chiefs offense that ranks sixth and a third-ranked defense. The pass-happy Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes could end up having a field day against Philly's 19th-ranked defense — that's mainly due to their atrocious secondary.
The good news is, thanks to the Week 10 break, the Eagles should be getting some key pieces back on both sides of the ball, including veteran slot corner Bradley Roby. In addition to Roby, starting right guard Cam Jergens will be available and Jalen Hurts' knee should be healed, or at least feeling a lot better after the bye.
Arrowhead Stadium is one of the hardest atmospheres to play in but the Eagles have shown plenty of grit at away games this season with a 3-1-1 road record.
This high-anticipated Super Bowl rematch doesn't kick off until Monday night, but it's one that you won't want to miss.
