The New Orleans Saints suffered many losses in Week 10, including the game against the Minnesota Vikings. Most notably, they lost Michael Thomas, Marshon Lattimore, and Derek Carr to injury.
The Saints provided an update on their statuses on Monday afternoon. For two of them, the news is not ideal, sadly.
Michael Thomas and Marshon Lattimore "both had fairly significant injuries", according to head coach Dennis Allen.
Thomas has a knee issue, while Lattimore has a high ankle sprain. They both may miss time, but Allen does not think that they are season-ending injuries. Their timetables are unknown right now.
For New Orleans, two players that will need to step up if both players are out for a period of time are WR A.T. Perry and CB Isaac Yiadom. Perry caught a touchdown on Sunday when Thomas exited, and Yiadom has played very well in a depth role for the Saints.
The Saints are on bye in Week 11.
Both players will take the time to begin their recovery process. Hopefully, that will go smoothly.
