Sunday's 28-23 victory over the Atlanta Falcons was a game to remember for Tennessee Titans fans. It was the historic debut for Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis, who became just the third quarterback in NFL history to throw four touchdown passes in a debut.

It may have also been the passing of the torch from Ryan Tannehill to the new Will Levis era of Titans football, and Titans fans were loving every minute of it.

Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons watched Levis ball out with the same excitement and energy that most fans watching from home probably had. In a video released by NFL Films, a mic'd up Simmons was fired up while watching the rookie.

Simmons jumped out of his seat when Levis threw his first career touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins on Sunday. "That's damn Will Levis man," Simmons exclaimed. Defensive end Arden Key then approached Simmons saying "I told you," to which Simmons replied "No, I told you!"

Clearly the Titans defenders had a lot of confidence in the rookie quarterback heading into Sunday's game.

"I told y'all, that (expletive) is a quarterback. That damn Will can play, man," said Simmons later in the game while watching Levis lead Tennessee's offense.

I can't help but picture all the Titans fans sitting at home and watching the game on TV that exclaimed some similar things on Sunday. Tennessee is riding high right now, and the Titans believe in Will Levis just as much as the fans do.
