Alvin Kamara is officially back. After an early-season suspension, it took a bit of time to get the New Orleans Saints running back worked back into the offense completely.

Not to mention, Kamara's explosiveness looked limited last season due to injury. Now, at full strength again, Kamara looks like one of the top runners in the NFL once again. The Saints star RB is on pace for over 80 receptions this season, a feat he has not come close to since Drew Brees was his QB.

Kamara was an intriguing statistical spectacle from 2017-2019 when he caught 81 passes in each season. In 2020, he grabbed 83 receptions. In the two years since, he caught 47 and 57 receptions, respectively.

His role was a bit different, and his usage was limited at times. Now, it looks like the Saints are realizing that was unacceptable. Derek Carr looks to him in time of need, and he has been extremely reliable for New Orleans.

Kamara's resurgence will be a key reason that the Saints turn this season around on offense – if their improvement continue all around.
