The Buffalo Bills proved to be buyers at the NFL trade deadline as Brandon Beane waited until the closing minutes to make a move by acquiring CB Rasul Douglas from the Packers in exchange for a third-round pick.
Now, Douglas wasn't the original target for the day as I previously wrote the team was desperately trying to bring in Bears CB Jaylon Johnson. Once things fizzled out, the Bills' general manager got to work to bring in Douglas, instead.
Since the acquisition, an interaction between Bills QB Josh Allen and the newly-acquired Douglas has been recirculating on social media, and it's no wonder why the video has gone viral.
The aforementioned clip was part of a longer video shared on the NFL's Top 100 which opened with Chiefs' Chris Jones letting the world know that Allen will cuss you out to your face, a part of his game some fans may have not known about before.
Douglas and Allen have squared off before, more specifically the Bills beat the Packers 27-17 last season when the viral clip had happened. Early in the game, Douglas and a Packers teammate collided with Allen on a scramble.
The superstar QB threw a little shade at his new teammate, letting him know exactly how he felt about the hit, and what Allen thought about his game during the contest. "You f***ing suck."
Now, this was in the heat of battle and later in the game, Allen wound up changing his tune just a little bit. "I love that s***." Allen told Douglas, "I love it. I love it. I love it." To which Douglas responded, "I know, I like that too."
Undoubtedly, this will be a topic of conversation once Douglas is officially added to the roster and opens up to the media about being in Buffalo, and we cannot wait to hear what he has to say.
Bills’ trade for Rasul Douglas isn’t what GM really wanted
The Buffalo Bills brought in some much-needed help for their CB room. However, it appears that Brandon Beane had another option in mind before the trade went down.
