The Seattle Seahawks are on a heck of a run. Not only is the team sitting at the top of the NFC West, but Seattle also finished October with one of the best defenses in the NFL.

The biggest argument against Seattle and their recent run of success has been the quality of opponents in October (outside of the Bengals). That all changes now.

The difficulty is going to increase immediately for the Seahawks as they start a more difficult run against the Ravens. The good news for Pete Carroll is that this team is as ready as they can be for a real test.

The Ravens have been one of the hottest teams in the league in recent weeks and should be able to put up a massive fight against Seattle on both sides of the ball. 

The Ravens have every making of a playoff team through a dominant offense headlined by an MVP-level quarterback and a great defense. 

This is going to be a difficult test from the opening whistle, and much like last week against the best defense in the NFL, the Seahawks will be able to prove a lot about themselves with a win.

Finding a way to out-duel Lamar Jackson will tell us everything we need to know about the playoff viability of this roster. Even losing closer to a roster like Baltimore's should inspire confidence in this group, but there is no need to aim so low.

The Seahawks are able to overcome a lot on both sides of the ball, and proving this fact against some of the best teams in the NFL is the only way that a team like Seattle gets better. 

The good thing for Seattle is that they are absolutely one of the hottest teams in the league on both sides of the ball after their recent string of success. If they wanted a perfect time to face a team like Baltimore, especially if you believe in momentum, this is the time.

This upcoming game won't be easy, but it sure will be just what the doctor ordered for a roster that is looking to make a name for itself in the most indisputable way possible.
