Former Tennessee Vols quarterback Josh Dobbs had one of the wildest NFL days we've ever seen on Sunday.
Dobbs was traded from the Arizona Cardinals to the Minnesota Vikings last week just before the trade deadline. The former Vol didn't arrive in Minnesota until Wednesday.
Despite only being in Minnesota for a few days, Dobbs led the Vikings to an unlikely victory against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday after entering the game in relief of rookie starter Jaren Hall.
It's not just that Dobbs led the team to a win, it's the way in which he did it.
Dobbs had some tough moments. He lost two fumbles. And he was tackled for a safety. But the former Tennessee standout also had some dazzling moments, including one of the best scrambles you'll see all season.
He also had an incredibly impressive touchdown run.
Dobbs ended up throwing the game-winning touchdown with just 20 seconds remaining in the game. Capping an incredibly unlikely day that no one saw coming.
What's even more incredible about the Vikings' win on Sunday is that Dobbs did it without superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson, who is still out with an injury.
The Vikings are still in the playoff hunt. And with Jefferson coming back soon, and Dobbs looking like he's locked in as Minnesota's starting quarterback for the rest of the season, there's a chance the Vikings could make a run.
If Dobbs had this kind of day after being in Minnesota for five minutes, imagine what he'll be able to do once he gets a chance to digest the playbook.
