The Buffalo Bills, once again, didn't show up on offense in a game that so desperately needed superstar QB Josh Allen and the offense to lead the charge and help the team get a victory.
With injury after injury, the defense needed some help from the offense, but it just never happened. Another week, another subpar performance from Ken Dorsey and the Buffalo Bills offense.
Allen showed some flashes, but the Cincinnati Bengals did a fantastic job of shutting down Allen in the team's 24-18 loss on Sunday Night Football. Immediately after the contest, Allen opened up to the media about the current state of the team, and what they need to do moving forward.
You can fast-forward to the 4:28 second mark to hear what Allen had to say.
The superstar QB was furious as he took a question about the controversial intentional grounding call. During the contest, Allen sprung up from the bench and nearly stormed the field, it was clear as day that he was beyond furious.
Speaking on the incident, "I've never seen that call in my life. That's an option route. Gabe can sit down or go. I wasn't pressured. They decided to make that call and you know unfortunately didn't allow us to get points there. I wouldn't do anything different, I expected him to run a go, he made the read to stop, and that's what it is."
Allen quite literally shouted when he discussed not seeing that call before in his life, something that was nagging at the QB well after the game had concluded.
Continuing on about the loss and the team's mindset moving forward, "It stings, losing is never fun, losing sucks. One thing though, we're not going to let this divide us. We're going to come together and we're going to figure it out. I got a lot of faith in the men in this locker room and the coaching staff and the guys around us, we're going to figure it out."
With the amount of injuries the team is facing on the defensive side of the football paired with the offense's inability to score points in bunches, we're starting to hover over the panic button. While Allen has faith in his team and his coaches, the Bills Mafia are quickly souring on both of those fronts.
Bills’ Stefon Diggs was heated as team suffered another embarrassing loss
The Buffalo Bills WR Stefon Diggs would not be silenced. To be completely honest, we can’t blame him for being upset.
