The Philadelphia Eagles continue to take blows to their secondary.

This time, starting safety Justin Evans headed to the locker room in the first quarter against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He was deemed questionable to return with a neck injury, per the team's official X/Twitter account.

The good news is that Evans was able to walk off the field on his own.

Backup safeties Terrell Edmunds and rookie Sydney Brown stepped up in his absence.

That was up until Brown left in the second quarter and was questionable to return with a thigh injury.

Prior to his early exit, Brown knocked away a potential touchdown pass to Bucs' top wideout Mike Evans.

The Eagles' secondary can't seem to catch a break after being riddled with injuries over the last two weeks.

Thankfully, starting cornerback James Bradberry (concussion) and starting safety Reed Blankenship (ribs) were able to return to the lineup this week.
