The New Orleans Saints are 1-0. The vibes are high for the black and gold.

That being said, it is a new week for the team. They'll face division foe Carolina Panthers on Monday Night for their second matchup of the season. In that game, they will look to break quite the unfortunate streak for the franchise.

The Saints have not won a Week 2 game since 2018 against the Cleveland Browns.

New Orleans will have a good shot todo that on Monday night, but nothing is given in the NFL. Just ask the Cincinnati Bengals or Kansas City Chiefs from Week 1.

The Panthers are expected to be without multiple players in their secondary, including top CB Jaycee Horn. Additionally, they'll be without multiple OL starters. The Saints remain rather healthy.

It will be the first of a few opportunities for the Saints to face a rookie QB this season, too. The pass rush and experienced secondary must take advantage.

All in all, the prior Week 2 performances won't affect this one. That being said getting a 'monkey off their back' against a NFC South foe would be ideal. The Saints need to take care of business on Monday night.
