The New York Jets did something only they would be able to do – get points on the board, but not by their own doing.

During Sunday night's game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes helped the team get out to a strong start. And that included holding the Jets scoreless while putting 17 points on the board.

However, the Jets were able to get a safety. But it wasn't because they sacked Mahomes in the end zone.

Jets' Bryce Huff gets passed Jawaan Taylor and charges towards Mahomes who is in the end zone. Taylor tries to avoid the safety, grabbing Huff. However, he got his helmet and was flagged for a face mask penalty.

Nothing has been going right for the Jets this season, but maybe this was the spark they needed?
