The Seattle Seahawks probably want their opener back.

After an impressive offseason where it looked like a good team was only going to get better and take a step further in the division, Seattle fell flat against a weak Rams team.

Offense was one of several glaring issues for the Seahawks when it mattered, but it looks like they could address that soon on the free agent market:

In the interest of getting as many top-tier wide receivers in their offense as possible, the Seahawks are set to meet with free agent wide receiver Michael Jefferson.

Jefferson was a name that a lot of people knew before his injury, and knowing that Seattle could land him now for nothing more than a free agent signing bonus is a pretty cool prospect.

Jefferson brings size that the Seahawks obviously like so much and some impressive highlights from his time at Louisiana that indicate a career in the NFL is very much on the table.

Could Jefferson prove to be the missing piece for this offense? Alone, probably not. But the addition of another good set of hands to this unit absolutely wouldn't hurt.
