Can Josh Allen bounce back with a big performance?

The Buffalo Bills franchise QB had a game to forget, leading the way with four turnovers. Allen went viral post-game with his accountability, showcasing yet another reason why he is an excellent leader for the Buffalo Bills.

Any fans concerned about a repeat performance need to remember some Buffalo Bills history. After a game in which Allen has 3+ turnovers, the Bills are 5-0 and the talented quarterback has a QBR of above 100, a good sign coming into the contest.

He should take Diggs' sideline advice from the last game, and play smart. Buffalo can get on the right track with a dominant game from Allen, and the home opener is a perfect opportunity for that.

3 Players to Watch

  • WR Stefon Diggs – Once again, all eyes are going to be on Diggs. It was another week shrouded by events that had nothing to do with football. Last week, we got a reminder of what the superstar WR is able to do on the football field. With all the latest off-the-field noise, we're expecting a big game out of Diggs, once again.
  • LB Terrel Bernard – Bernard held his own, despite some hiccups, after getting the start at middle linebacker. Buffalo is still on the hunt for Tremaine Edmunds' replacement. If Bernard can have another solid game, it just furthers the front office's decision to give him the start. Buffalo needs their signal-caller on defense, can Bernard rise to the challenge?
  • CB Kaiir ElamIt may be us not watching him for the second straight game. Not exactly for kickoff, but we have all eyes on what the front office is going to do with the former first-rounder. He was a healthy scratch in the season-opener, is the team going to sit him once again for Christian Benford?

Here's the team's chance to get the sour taste out of our mouths from last week. The Bills Mafia could use a win, here's hoping Josh Allen and company come ready to play. At the end of the day, we're just thrilled that football is back.
