Former Tennessee Vols quarterback Josh Dobbs recorded his first career rushing touchdown on Sunday afternoon.

Dobbs, who is operating as the Arizona Cardinals' starting quarterback while Kyler Murray is sidelined, scored on an impressive 23-yard touchdown run that featured the former Tennessee standout bowling over a defender as he reached the end zone.

After Dobbs scored, he spiked the ball in celebration.

That wasn't just a random celebration that Dobbs defaulted to because he didn't know what else to do.

Dobbs said after the game, that Arizona players said this week that if anyone spiked the ball in the game against the New York Giants, then the ball had to go out of the screen.

"We had a rule this week that said if you spike the ball, it has to go out of the film screen," said Dobbs. "So hopefully my spike went out of the screen. We'll see, we'll check it out."

The good news for Dobbs is that his spike did go out of the screen.

The bad news, though, is that Arizona lost the game to the Giants.

Dobbs, however, played well and gave the Cardinals a chance to win. Unfortunately for Dobbs and the Cardinals, Arizona's defense wasn't able to stop New York in the second half.
