The city of Cincinnati is anxiously awaiting to hear how quarterback Joe Burrow's calf is progressing entering Week 3. Fortunately, things seem to be trending in the right direction for the face of the Cincinnati Bengals.

Per NFL Media's Mike Garafolo, indications are that Burrow is feeling better than he was at the conclusion of Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.

While Burrow made it through the entirety of the Ravens game, he told reporters after the game that he tweaked his right calf on the second-to-last play of the game, right before throwing his second touchdown to Tee Higgins that afternoon.

Burrow appeared fairly concerned talking about it during his presser, claiming it's "tough to tell" if the injury would affect him for the entire year. He left the door open with pretty much every answer.

"I don't know how I'm going to feel the next couple of days. Just day-to-day," Burrow said of his calf after the game.

It's been a few days now, and if Burrow is feeling better, it keeps the possibility of him playing Monday night against the Los Angeles Rams alive. The Bengals could definitely still sit him until they feel he's closer to his normal self, but waiting until he's fully recovered might not be an option for them.
