The Kansas City Chiefs defense has been one of the best in the league so far this season, allowing just 33 total points through three weeks of football. They are allowing just 11 points per game right now; when you take out the pick-six, the Detroit Lions scored.

Now, their road to solidifying that they are one of the best doesn't get any harder in Week 4, as they are taking on a New York Jets team without Aaron Rodgers that is struggling to do anything, really. They are showing shades of a 2022 Denver Broncos team that scored just 16 points per game, last in the NFL.

Maybe that is because the Jets are scoring 14 points per game, which is last in the NFL.

They are a team the Chiefs' defense does not have to lose any sleep over

A team that wants to run the ball, you know," linebacker Willie Gay said when asked what he sees in the Jets quarterback. "That wasn't meant to be funny or anything, but ARod [Aaron Rodgers] got hurt, and they turned into a team where they went into panic mode almost; that's what I see, at least. And they got great running backs. So now they're just trying to ground and pound down on the ground like they did. [They have] three great ones. So I feel like that's their game plan."

The Jets do have very good running backs, but even that has been an issue for them this season in terms of establishing a run game. They are still 22nd in rushing yards per game this season, with 91 yards per game. There is a common trend if you want to know why the Jets offense is struggling this season.

Of course, Zach Wilson, their quarterback, has been awful. However, the common trend is Nathaniel Hackett, who was the Denver Broncos play-caller last season and is the Jets play-caller this season.

The Jets are not an offense anyone is really worried about.
